2. Accessing the website (server logs)
This site is served as a static website (e.g. via GitHub Pages). When you access it, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the URL requested, referrer and user agent. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in delivering the site reliably and securely). We do not evaluate these server logs ourselves.
3. Cookies, tracking, analytics
This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and embeds no analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics). External fonts, maps or social plugins are not loaded either — the IBM Plex typefaces are served from this same domain. Hence no cookie banner is required.
4. Waitlist / contact form (Formspree)
For waitlist sign-ups we use the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4137, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. When you submit the form, the data you enter (in particular your email address, submission timestamp and IP address) is transmitted to and stored on Formspree's servers so that we can receive and respond to your request.
Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent) for any voluntary information you provide. As Formspree may process data in the United States, the transfer is based on appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We retain the data transmitted only as long as needed to process your request, at most until you withdraw your consent. You can object to processing at any time by sending an email to the address above.

Apart from the services listed above (hosting provider, Formspree), we do not share your data with third parties. Disclosure only happens where we are legally required to do so.
